Eligibility Criteria

All applicants are required to appear for GMAT /CAT /XAT /MAT/CMAT/NMAT*
*NMAT score will also be considered, subject to the submission of an AICTE-approved all-India test score, such as GMAT/CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT/ATMA. The best among all the scores will be considered -
Freshers and candidates with less than 3 years of work experience are eligible to apply.

Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; SOBD will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree with at least 50% aggregate marks in any discipline from a recognized university in India or Abroad (recognized by the UGC/Association of Indian Universities). The degree should consist of at least three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2 system).

Final-year bachelor’s students appearing in 2025 can apply but must provide a certificate from their institution confirming 50% marks. The final marksheet and certificate must be submitted by October 1, 2025.

Once you complete the payment, you will receive a notification email acknowledging your payment.

The applicant will have to submit their Statement of Purpose (SOP) before their interview dates for consideration for the further steps.

The applicant will have to select a date for their Design Thinking Workshop (A half day immersion where students will solve real-life problems. It is designed to help us appreciate your candidature better and also provide you a glimpse of our innovative approach to teaching and learning.)
Selection Process - Design Thinking Admissions Workshop
Candidates who have eligible will be short listed on the basis of the details filled in the application form and their entrance examination scores. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Design Thinking Admissions workshop and Personal Interview round.
Design Thinking Admissions Workshop
A Design Thinking workshop is a hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. The students will be taught about the process of design thinking and the ways to practice and implement the learning. The students will then carry out the 5 key processes of design thinking namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test their solutions to a problem. The personal interview round will follow the design thinking workshop

Evaluation Parameters
All candidates will be evaluated based on the following key parameters. If a student is selected, he will be notified to his official emai-id given in the application form within 7 to 10 days from the interview date.

FEE STRUCTURE (PGDM BATCH (2025-27))
*The above fee is inclusive of tuition fee, examination fee, extra and co-curricular activities on campus, Library books & reading material, IT Services etc.
**Refundable after completion of the program, subject to clearance of all dues and damages to institute properties/assets.
PAYMENT SCHEDULE
Global Immersion Experience – Our initiative aims to provide students with international exposure through our signature Global Immersion Experience Program, which requires students to travel overseas and hold a valid passport. These programs are offered at a highly subsidized cost, though additional charges may apply depending on the destination and any value-added experiences, which will be communicated at the time of location finalization***. Students are responsible for paying their own visa fees and medical insurance premiums. The Global Immersion Experience Program will be conducted based on the prevailing global travel conditions and government guidelines. The final decision regarding the program will rest with the institute's management committee.
***Optional trip charges are on opt in basis only. These charges can change and are on actual basis. Student will have to pay these charges 3 months in advance if they wish to go for these trips
ADDITIONAL NOTES

Laptop – All students enrolled in the institute needs to have a laptop for their coursework. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided to all students once enrolled. The minimum configurations for smooth running of most programmes required as part of the coursework are – Processor Speed: minimum of Intel Core i5, RAM- minimum of 8 GB, Hard Drive/SSD – 500 GB or higher, Wi-Fi enabled, OS: Windows-7 or above. In addition, any licensed antivirus software (Freeware are not valid).

Global Immersion Experience – is our endeavour to provide our students an international exposure*** through our signature Global Immersion Experience Program for which students are required to travel overseas and have a valid passport. Additional charges may apply depending on the location and any value-added experiences offered, which will be communicated at the time of location finalization. All students must pay their own visa fee and medical insurance premiums as applicable. The ensuing Global Immersion Experience Program would be conducted based on the then prevailing global travel scenario and the prescribed government guidelines regarding the same and the final decision would be at the sole discretion of the management committee of the institute.

Visiting SOBD campus –Small group information sessions to clear any doubts regarding PGDM programme, a brief campus tour or a class sit-in experience are offered and organized by the college from time to time. We also encourage you to join us for lunch in our college campus cafeteria during such a visit.
