SOIL SCHOOL OF BUSINESS DESIGN selects students based on indicators of their future potential; characteristics including intellectual curiosity, perseverance in the face of adversity, and creativity. Important Information for Admissions to the PGDM Program

Eligibility Criteria

  1. All applicants are required to appear for GMAT /CAT /XAT /MAT.

  2. Only freshers and candidates with less than 5 years of work experience as on 30th June 2024 are ONLY eligible to apply.

  3. Applicants may submit multiple examination scores; SOBD will consider the best score provided by an applicant while shortlisting applications

  4. Candidates should have a full-time undergraduate degree completion certificate before 15th June 2024

  5. Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution

  6. Graduation type: 3 years / 4 years or 5 years integrated program

  7. Stream: Arts/Commerce/Science/ Engg. (B. Tech / B.E) etc.

  8. A minimum score of 50% (45% for SC/ST) in graduation (for engineers) is required to be considered in the admission process

  1. Start your registration process by visiting https://app.soil.edu.in/pgdm

  2. Complete the Registration process and online application form by making an online payment of INR 2000.

  3. Once you complete the payment, you will receive a notification email acknowledging your payment.

  4. The applicant will have to submit their Statement of Purpose (SOP) before their interview dates for consideration for the further steps.

  5. The applicant will have to select a date for their Design Thinking Workshop (A half day immersion where students will solve real-life problems. It is designed to help us appreciate your candidature better and also provide you a glimpse of our innovative approach to teaching and learning.)

Selection Process - Design Thinking Admissions Workshop

Candidates who have eligible will be short listed on the basis of the details filled in the application form and their entrance examination scores. Only the shortlisted candidates will then be called for the Design Thinking Admissions workshop and Personal Interview round. 

Design Thinking Admissions Workshop

A Design Thinking workshop is a hands-on, activity-based session built around the Design Thinking process. The students will be taught about the process of design thinking and the ways to practice and implement the learning. The students will then carry out the 5 key processes of design thinking namely Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test their solutions to a problem. The personal interview round will follow the design thinking workshop

Evaluation Parameters

All candidates will be evaluated based on the following key parameters. If a student is selected, he will be notified to his official emai-id given in the application form within 7 to 10 days from the interview date.

Program Fee Structure

*The above fee is inclusive of tuition fee, examination fee, extra and co-curricular activities on campus, Library books & reading material, IT Services etc.

**Refundable after completion of the program, subject to clearance of all dues and damages to institute properties/assets.

Optional trip charges are on opt in basis only. These charges can change and are on actual basis. Student will have to pay these charges 3 months in advance if they wish to go for these trips

ADDITIONAL NOTES
 

  • Laptop – All students enrolled in the institute needs to have a laptop for their coursework. Wi-Fi connectivity is provided to all students once enrolled. The minimum configurations for smooth running of most programmes required as part of the coursework are – Processor Speed: minimum of Intel Core i5, RAM- minimum of 8 GB, Hard Drive/SSD – 500 GB or higher, Wi-Fi enabled, OS: Windows-7 or above. In addition, any licensed antivirus software (Freeware are not valid).

  • Global Immersion Experience – is our endeavour to provide our students an international exposure*** through our signature Global Immersion Experience Program for which students are required to travel overseas and have a valid passport. Such programs are offered at a highly subsidized cost to the students. Additional charges may apply depending on the location and any value-added experiences offered, which will be communicated at the time of location finalization. All students must pay their own visa fee and medical insurance premiums as applicable. The ensuing Global Immersion Experience Program would be conducted based on the then prevailing global travel scenario and the prescribed government guidelines regarding the same and the final decision would be at the sole discretion of the management committee of the institute.

  • PG & Accommodations – We understand your concerns for residing in a safe and comfortable environment while staying away from home. So, we assist all our accommodation desiring college students in searching and finding residential accommodation facility options within proximity of our campus on extra but affordable costs.   • Visiting SOBD campus –Small group information sessions to clear any doubts regarding PGDM programme, a brief campus tour or a class sit-in experience are offered and organized by the college from time to time. We also encourage you to join us for lunch in our college campus cafeteria during such a visit. REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

The Enrolment fee is refundable as per the AICTE Norms.
